Joe Scarborough is known for his vast stupidity and cowardice first as a two bit Congressman, and now as a bltantly biased "GOP Butt Licker".
However his latest ranting on the MSNBC blog as really topped it all. Scarborough makes the laughable claim that: " The war is over.
The New York Times lost.
But they are not alone.
The Democratic Party, the Arab Street, the broadcast networks, National Public Radio, an odd assortment of college professors, and a slew of other pseudo-intellectuals join the motley crew of left wing elites who, by ignoring historical trends, became sad parodies of themselves.
I know that in Joe's own warped little world he inhabits he hopes this statement is true...unfortunately for "Banjo Boy" reality is far different. The NY Times as not capitulated anyhting. The Times (as well as every other major newspaper) has pointed out that the Middle East is FAR from becoming Democratic. Even the events in Lebannon and Palestine are not indicative of any larger change in the Arab world. The anger in Lebannon is due to the actions of Syria basically shooting themselves in the foot by assassinating Hariri, not by the war in Iraq or because of George Bush. Likewise the death of Yasser Arafat has created the climate of possible peace between Israel and Palestin, and I am pretty sure Bush nor Iraq caused Arafat's death.
Of course Joe convieniently forgets to point out that the death tool and insurgent attacks in Iraq are as strong as ever despite the election, and that American deaths have just topped 1500. Joe is either too dumb or to indifferent to mention those things... or maybe he just has his tounge affixed to George's A**hole like usual:)
