3. Toe jam sandwiches.
Did you know I had a friend who knitted a sweater out of belly button lint? She collected it from friends (mostly guys).

I'm not kidding, either. Ok, maybe I am.

7. Where does all that lint come from anyway?
I usually put non-linty clothes into the dryer, but the lint filter gets full anyway! What am I doing wrong?

10. The lint Gods. It is an offering.
For a laundry job well done.

No, I'm not drinking this evening. Or even on drugs. These things just, kind of, come to me. ;)

13. just about to say...
...dryer lint = a lint trap stuffed with, of say, 3wks of laundry lint by a mile if for no other reason than its hard to say lint so many times in one sentence merely talking about your belly-button, plus clean and multi colored

8. Yes, and it can also be the soft little start of a massive fire, if you
forget to clean it out like my ex boyfriend's mother did. ;)

20. So my ex boyfriend in high school had a mom who was a little ditzy about
housekeeping, but a really wonderful, loving woman...I wish I could have married MrG and adopted her as my MIL, but I digress.

She never, not once, cleaned out the dryer vent. One fateful day she threw in some towels hit start and went shopping.

My exboyfriend and I drove up to find flames shooting out of the roof, 3 hook and ladders, and a dog yelping in the yard. It was really something. I always clean out my dryer religiously. :hi:

11. Little old lady goes to buy a new dryer, and says to the salesman
"Now, be sure it has one of those nice little blankets in it like my last one had"

"What Blanket?'

She was talking about the dryer lint ..she apparantly never changed the filter. Of course no wonder she needed a new dryer, right?

I washed my comforter not too long ago, and the dryer lint was more cat hair than anything else. That was strange.

You can put it in your compost too, you know.

12. How about Charles de Lint? You could post about him....
http://www.sfsite.com/charlesdelint/

Talented and prolific Canadian fantasy writer. Quite good, and much more engaging than regular old lint.
