DU has completely destroyed my ability to enjoy aol chat.

and i'm pi**ed. i mean, the discussion board .. is different than the fast moving chat ... but, recent posts notwithstanding, the level of dialogue is just so much better, even here in DU.

i mean, just how MANY times in 5 minutes can one be asked ASL??

i'm too .. old ... er.. experientally-gifted for this ****.

.. i hadn't for .. more than a year.
was feeling the . uhm . need . for fastmoving .. written conversation, so tried it.
disasterous.
in a really hilarious way. I mean, I couldn't help laughing, but it really was pathetic. I couldn't bear to stay after 10 minutes (and no fewer than 15 IMS with the "ASL" somewhere in the first 3 lines).

So -- i decided to go to an allegedly political chat room -- even worse.
