The Beatles not only praised Oasis, but admitted defeat in backwards msg.
The other day I was thinking about the backwards message in "Free As A Bird", which I've posted before.

I started thinking about the last line:

There was a little toolshed where they made us suffer, sad Oasis.

There is quite a bit packed into this one sentence. First, they admit they suffered with the emergence of Oasis, and it's implied that they got their asses whipped with the toolshed reference. It's like they got taken behind the woodshed. But they also say - and I think Noel Gallagher would attest to this as well - that Oasis was sad in this victory, as they had to see what was once considered the greatest rock band diminish at their own hands.

Sadly, score one for Oasis.

2. Liam's son is named Lennon, isn't he?
I can understand the high honor of naming your son after the guy that made your career possible.

3. One can only speculate on why this is so.
I would imagine it is a consolation prize for the toolshed incident.

4. Plus, Lennon is his middle name.
The full name is James Lennon Gallagher.

5. So he goes by his middle name. Wonder what they're trying to hide?
Just kidding. The kid is off-limits.

9. 3 mins of Beatles farting is 1000 times better than 3 hrs of Oasis "music"
Oasis?? They're not even worthy of carrying the Beatles' guitar cases...

12. Are you referring to John & Yoko on Revolution 9?
IMHO it was rather interesting...not a Beatles song, but worth a listen...

11. Again, a Beatles fan sets the bar quite low.
I know that some people (Beatles fans) think that farts sound great. I do not.

But if you are impressed with four hippies on drugs standing in a field farting, then I can not help you.
