Parole hearing for Video (the murderer of Radio Star)
A parole hearing is scheduled for later this week for Video, who was convicted in 1979 of killing the Radio star. Video received 25 years to life for the murder. Radio star was an excellent musician who cared far less about looks and fashion than Video.

Video's last parole hearing became a free for all after many disgruntled radio listeners attended and complained again that the murder of Radio star had left the airwaves full of "derivative crap" played by "hair bands and posers."

Another contingent opposed to early parole were those who are annoyed by the world's most over-used, not-really-obscure trivia question: "What was the first song played on MTV?" A judge overseeing the hearing pointed out that it was not Video's fault that people continue to use that trivia question although it is "annoyingly lame."
