but I have a confession to make.

Massachusetts was getting all of the attention, and Californians (GLBT, straight, or whomever) do NOT like it when we are not the CENTER of attention (just joking)!

2. And the great irony

is that Arnie is going to be the third Republican governor to get pinned this way- the Romney-Pataki Ambitious Republican In A Blue State Hell Club admits a new member.

The real fun is that if California actually goes through with legalization it will be the state that makes the anti effort go really hopeless. Massachusetts gay marriage legalization- a bad development, but about as excusable as it gets for the 'Christian' Right. Washington State- eh, it might be possible to stall that one. New York- that's a second Massachusetts and it makes the game marginal and very difficult. California, or for that any other fairly large and Democratic state...the camel's back breaks with a nasty 'crunch' sound.
