Is it just me - or is there something 'fishy' about Elizabeth Smart's
father? He was just on MSNBC and still gives me 'the willies'. Maybe it's just me........??

1. not just you. He creeps me out.
But then again, I grew up a non-mormon in a mormon community, and many of the mormon fathers creeped me out, so maybe it's associative for me.

4. I believe that is the book
I read a few months back. He gave a lot of facts about the church-- their numbers are quite surprising.

3. Don't forget - he's the father who hired the creep to work in his home.
I feel compassion for people, but I wouldn't hire a transient to work in my home when I have young children there. Maybe that's just me, but I think I'd just make a donation to charity.

7. I think it's really creepy
how much publicity her parents have sought over this thing, with the book and all the TV appearances.
