It's official: 64-bit SuSE Linux not only cremates 64-bit Windows, it
cremates Red Hat's floppy Fedora as well.

1. Too bad it doesn't run my software
That's kind of important.

7. True, but it's still a fact
The second Linux runs 3D Studio Max and Photoshop, I'll dump XP.

4. Strange. I can do everything I need:
* internet
* games (Unreal Tournament 2004, for example)
* video processing/editing
* audio processing/editing
* word processing and other office apps
* cd and dvd burning

Barring CSS issues for some multimedia, but I've got something called a "DVD player" connected to my TV set.

The only thing crap is your silly attitude. Must be a Mac user, are you? Your selection is even more limited... more expensive too.

5. Nope.. PC and Linux user
My three main apps.. 3D Studio Max, Photoshop and Vegas Video don't run on Linux, unfortunately.

Mac user? hehe.. As far from it as can be as a matter of fact.

6. I stand corrected. But Photoshop WILL run under WINE... and,
Dunno about the others, but MainActor 5 would surely compensate for what Vegas does for you?

I know there's 3D stuff for Linux too. I just don't do 3D. (truespace 3 will work perfectly in WINE, FWIW.)
