I saw a chipmunk today too.This may be the first signs of spring.However,I have in the back of my mind the timetable I heard sometime last year refering to the draft boards being ready to go by March 31,2005.So,my spring fever is tainted with outrage fatigue too.

5. I tried to explain this to a friend the other day

She has suddenly gotten energized with the MoveOn.org advocacy. I've had it with that. All my reps are Republicans, so all I can do is send them really mean email now. I feel so hopeless.

Strangely, that gives me hope -- They are scared the "mandate party" is gonna be over soon.

Look how they are relentlessly trying to shove everything through as fast as possible. They know their days are numbered.

We have to keep plugging away.
