Remote Starter Causes Car To Drive Into Neighbor's House

SOUTH HAVEN, Ind. -- Christine Djordjevic thought her car had a mind of its own.

She claimed her car drove itself into a neighbor's house in South Haven. But it's not a case of auto-possession.

Police say the woman's remote starter was to blame. When the woman hit the start button in front of officers, the car started driving down the road again.

Officers managed to stop it before the car hit anything else.

Djordjevic said she's not taking anymore chances. She's removed the remote starter from her key chain.

She added that she didn't even know "how the stupid thing works."
