Check this out for a long, sad, story: On Thursday, I started to feel like crap, and I had this wicked cough. On Friday morning, I woke up in a half-delusional state with my throat on fire. As loopy as I was, I thought that there would be no way that I could call in sick, because Friday was the last day before spring break. I convinced myself that I absolutely had to slog through it.

By the time the end of my last class rolled around, I was doped to the gills on that awful Tylenol liquid, and the other teachers in my department were telling me that I wasn't making a whole lot of sense, so I swerved home. When I got here, I took some more medicine and went to bed. Mrs. IconCat came home and took my temp (101), and then freaked out on me for going to work like that. I concurred and went back to sleep.

I woke up a couple of hours ago feeling less loopy, but most of the other symptoms persist (you don't want to know). If it keeps up, or if the fever comes back, I'll have to go to the bloody ER. In the meantime, however, I'm on spring break, dammit!
