Those of you who do Easter baskets for the kids:
Do you buy a new basket every year or do you use the same one year after year?

When I was a kid, we reused the baskets every year. There were five of us children, and we made Shrinky-Dink labels for the baskets with our names on them; the labels were tied to the basket handles with satin ribbon.

1. I am too lazy to look for last year's baskets. This year I got cute
little wagons that can hold their dolls. I bought very little candy, but got them some additions to their respective Groovy Girls collections.

5. As the resident Easter bunny, I can say this:

My kids have used the same baskets for over 20 years. They look a little worn but I'm certain that my daughter would NEVER want a new basket. She's quite the traditionalist. My son is not that rigid...

Edited for grammar.

8. I re-use where possible, but...
...this year I found the cutest "Easter Express" little yellow wagon for the newest nephew. He's just learned to walk and he'll get a kick out of it soon enough, toting around his froggie, pooh, piglet and other toys. I'm using the wagon as the base for his "basket."

Grandma will be mad because it isn't a real "basket," but I think it kicks butt! :-)
