So are stores generally open today?
I've put off my weekly errand running until today. Though I notice that in the Sunday sales papers, some stores are closed. Is that the norm?

2. some may be 'privately' opened, some corporally....
but I think the generals went off with their teenage daughters friends.

6. I bought Krispy Kremes at a local supermarket earlier.
They were open until 3:00pm. Lots of stuff seems to be open, but it closes early.
