Just found out someone at work is a Bushbot...
...she only has three years to go till retirement and Social Security somehow came up. Anyway, Chimp is a great guy, Limbaugh and FOX are the cat's pajamas, etc., and, "Who are you going to believe, Alan Colmes?" Amazing how sheltered this person is that a strawman like Alan Colmes is her sole idea of a liberal/opposing point of view.

I didn't really want to get into it, but when she, of all people, claimed I was the one who was brainwashed, I really let her have it and knocked down all of the little things she was regurgitating from her propaganda outlets. Once she saw what was happening, she could only start saying, "I'm not going to say anything else because I see it will be lost on you," to which I responded, in all honesty, "You're not going to say anything else because you really have nothing to say."

"That's not true! I could, I could!" Like some three-year-old. But she didn't. She just stood there being stupid.

Anyway, even though I'm much younger than she is, this lady had always used to linger and spin out our interactions even though I'd be dropping hints and using phrases to try and wrap things up ("Well, that's that," "What are ya gonna do?" etc.). I don't know whether it was because she was lonely or because of something else, but I hope she'll hang around less, now. I was always a little creeped out by her, before I ever even knew anything about her politics.

As her "parting shot" she "joked" that she'll have to see about whether she'll be able to "expedite" her reply to the reports she gets from me each month. Like she needs to "expedite" anything--I get those things to her on time each month. And isn't it just like a Bushbot to imply something personal should affect something public and professional, even as a joke?

Ugh. :puke:

Fellow DUers, I need to feel clean, again! :grouphug:

1. That's exactly why Colmes is so dangerous for us.

3. Colmes is a turd
He's complete liability to us. I like what the Buffalo Beast had to say about him in "The 50 Most Loathsome People in America 2004"

2. I don't know if any of us will feel clean again. There
has been so much dirt dumped on us by the president and party of Chaos. In all my years I have never seen this country so divided with, seemingly, no place to go. Sometimes I think if there is another war it will be right here in our country.

4. Judging by the amount of people at Freeper rallies,
and the chickenhawk status of their leaders,
that war should not last more than five whole minutes.

5. well, if you talk to a Republican...
They think the Democratic Party of 2004 is way way to the left of the Democratic Party of the 1960s. Please, stop gagging or snorting up your coffee, they really believe that. (If I'm up to arguing, I will simply say that the Democratic Party had national health care as part of their platform from the 1950s through 1995. It was not there in '96, '00 or '04... and that is moving way left?)

Many also think that Bush's problem is that he's not conservative enough...

One of the great crimes of the 20th century was that Bill Clinton wasn't convicted after being impeached.

But, these are examples as to how deeply Rush, Fox, Hannity, O'Reilly, etc have brainwashed the RW.

6. The Onion on Alan Colmes...
Alan Colmes Loses Argument With Nephew: NEW YORK—Alan Colmes, the liberal co-host of the Fox News debate program Hannity & Colmes, lost an argument to his nephew Bryan while babysitting the 8-year-old Monday. "I wanted to stay up late to watch television, but Uncle Alan said, 'There's already too much self-parenting in America,'" Bryan said. "So I started screaming, 'Mom lets me, Mom lets me,' real loud. He gave in after, like, 20 seconds." In the past two years, Bryan has won arguments with Colmes on the subjects of Pokémon cards, Crunch Berries cereal, and steel tariffs. - The Onion.com
