Poll question: My cool idea: waitstaff at coffee shops.

This probably used to be thought of as a silly idea because all you're really having is coffee and maybe a little pastry or something and you can get that right away and carry that back to your table yourself, but nowadays all these people have laptops and stuff that they don't want to leave unattended, so it would be cool to have a waiter or waitress come by and ask you if they can get you another drink so you don't have to go up and get one yourself. Don't you think this is a bomb idea, especially since we are liberals and drink lattes all the time?

3. This also might be good business.

People might get more drinks if they don't have to go up and get them, plus the waitstaff would make pretty good money because usually people tip at least $1 for drinks no matter what.

Latte drinkers are not coffee haters.

I drink more regular drip-brewed coffee than lattes, and I drink it strong and black. I drink several cups a day (though these days I am limited to no more than one cup of regular and then decaf after that, for health reasons).

But I ALSO like lattes, and I drink those strong too, with an extra shot or two of espresso.
