I'm from California and was pissing mad about the fake energy crisis of 2001. I felt like I was the only soul on the face of the earth that saw through the scam until I found DU. All google searches - Enron - scam - fraud - crooks - energy papers - Cheney - etc., led me straight to DU, the only place talking about it. My suspicions were confirmed, thanks to the fantastic researchers. Then it got really good when Enron crashed and it became a national issue and I became hooked. A couple of screen names later (never use your real name! LOL) and I'm still here.

I was reading Freeper Republic at the time of the allegedly forged Bush National Guard documents controversy and of course I was sicken by what I read on that "forum". But I did noticed that the Freepers kept mentioning DU. I thought that anything the Freepers dislike has to be good. I checked out DU, lurk for awhile and then registered here.
