Puppies!

My rescued dog Angel had her pups last night, there are only two. I searched high and low for any others but there is no evidence of more. I didn't think she would drop them for at least another week or two- what a suprise! She seems like a good mother, I had to seperate her from the other dogs because she is really defensive and beat up one of her daughters (previous litter) pretty bad. She is now in her own suite (my bedroom) recieving room service and a lot of attention. This is her last litter, she wasn't fixed when I took her in three weeks ago- she will be now that her pups arrived.
I have five dogs, three rescued last month from a neighbor who left them when their house burned down. I guess 7 dogs won't be too bad- I would rather do that than take a chance on them going to a bad environment, chained up in someones backyard.
This is going to be fun- seeing them grow up from the little rat looking creatures they are now!

I have yet to get a digital camera! They look like little rats rightnow, I haven't checked the sex yet- I don't want to disrupt the feeding!
