1. Have you seen /The Eyes of Tammy Faye/?
They talk alot about how the expense of that place got so overwhelming that they started resorting to asking for tons of money. I don't know how biased it is, but I actually gained an appreciation for Jim and Tammy from it.

2. Well, I'm sure the air-conditioned "doggie mansion"
didn't help much with the balance sheets.

I think Jim deserves more of the blame than Tammy, but there is nothing Christlike about the extravagant lifestyle they lived.
