Knappogue Castle Irish Whiskey!
I just got a bottle from Hi-Time Wine Cellars, cracked it open tonight, and splashed a little over ice. Delicious! And it's on sale!

I highly recommend this one, whisky drinkers!

2. 12 years old, too?
Is most whiskey aged that long? I bet it's some pricey stuff.

5. That's some good stuff too
Ever try Rowan's Creek? It's my favorite. Little boutique bourbon, single-batch distillery. Very nice flavor.
Also available from Hi-Time.

8. I don't have much experience with Irish whiskeys
but this one is the smoothest I have ever tasted. Absolutely delicious in every way.

11. This paticular Irish man shows up on my porch every St. Patty's
with a bottle of a differenct Irish every year...I'll admit this one will stay in my memory as one of the best...I remember Fitzgerald was good, Jameson crested ten was good, and a Bushmills that was from his fathers stash (who was a bigtime lawyer in Chicago and had a very good stash). I like Irish Whiskey about as much as I like Greek brandy...

15. I plan to this summer
The Prophetess finishes her Ph.D. this summer, and I am planning a trip to Paris and Amsterdam as a present. She's never been to Europe, so it is IMO an appropriate gift for such an achievement.

13. I've been enjoying this one lately:

nice, smooth single malt Scotch. "a re-creation of 1950's style Macallan"
