He is really a crankster when he is sick...but he's cute, and that should make up for it, right? :hi:

2. how 'bout some home made chicken soup?
chunks of cooked chicken, bouillion (the paste kind in a jar), a small amount of fresh onion, celery, a handful of rice, barley if you have it, some kind of noodles maybe, a bay leaf, and the saltiest crackers you can find. I like to get it all simmered for about 20 minutes, take it off and stir in a beaten egg and top with fresh cut chives. Tap a drop (one or two) of tabasco into the soup or a dust of cayenne to punch up the flavor without noticing it's there.

Adjust water and ingredients for desired thickness; some of the starch will cook out of the rice / pasta and thicken it. You can also add a little cream / milk if you want to make a "cream of" soup, but people with colds have enough problems to worry about without a lot of cream giving them the trots.

And it's not just for the sick and dying you know - it's pretty good stuff when you're feeling healthy too!

10. Thanks, sui! I'm always looking for new soup recipes. I was going
to make Lemon Chicken Soup, but I think I'll try this! :hi:

I take it that's your way of saying you don't want him...

17. I've got one already . . .
but I could sure use a spare! Is he willing to be a stay at home house hubbie? Will pay his bills, cook his meals and give him an allowance too!

I just want someone to fold the frigging laundry and play with the critters! I suck at laundry and Mr. Sui claims he can't physically see it due to a genetic defect in his brain or something. I think he's pulling my leg.

3. Does he cook and clean?
I have some chicken and dumplings in the fridge. Homemade. If we lived closer to each other, I'd run them over to you.

Hey, I saw his photo. He's quite a hunk. I'll take him off you hands for a couple of days. ;-)

32. ha! okay you said he only cooks when absolutely necessary
so does Mr. Sui. I have been on my deathbed before and all I got was a stupid t-shirt and some left over chinese takeout.

Do you think necessity would drive them to cook or would the neighborhood Church's chicken make top national sales that week?

21. you would miss him.
you better keep him then. And you said he's a handy handyman? Mr. Sui and Mr. G would run off together, the pool palace would finally get finished, the hidden garden would have everything built and the there would be a deck with a twenty foot slipper slide from the roof of the pool palace into the pool, and OH MY GAWD!!!! it would be that swapping spouses thing. I would have to come live with you. We could even have a reality teevee show.

You better keep him. Could be trouble.

oh, I also laugh at my own jokes. A lot. Hope that's okay. :spray:
