1. How's about just "other"...
Since the Sacagewa dollar wasn't moving I'd say the case
was better that the population was racist.

Or they simply don't like coins.

Dollar coins will never work until they're accepted
by vending machines.

3. ? They are not replacing her coin. They are adding more
so that they will be used more. Why does it have to boil down to race?

If I dont use her coin, does that make me a racist?

7. how about something other than a president perhaps?
Are there no others in over 200 years of American history worthy of being on a coin? I'd even like to see natural wonders, animals, and artists, writers, etc.

5. Was it racist to put her on the coin?
Ask anyone on the street who is on the $1 coin and see what they say. The coin isn't used nearly enough in this country. No one knows who's on there.

8. It's not used for 2 reasons. !. It's not different enough!
2. Why would I want to carry a heavy, noisy coin in my pocket insteat of 10 singles in paper? It's just stupid!

If they really want to convert to the Dollar Coin, eliminate the dollar bill!

It's not that much different than the $2 bill. No one uses them either because they aren't different enough. They look too much like $5's.

11. I will continue getting blank stares when I try to pay with $1 coins
So, it doesn't really matter to me.
