Uncle Zomby reads 'Green Eggs & Ham' to nephew's class!
Edited on Thu Apr-28-05 07:35 PM by ZombyWoof
The audience responds enthusiastically to my powerful dramatic reading!

(That is ZombyNephew in the blue Spongebob shirt on the right, and ZombySister hidden in the back behind the kids, she is NOT the one on the far right, that is a teacher's aide)

10. You bet they did!
They were the sweetest kids, and listened with the UTMOST attention. My sister and the teacher did a Q&A about the story with them, and they did great!

4. What I want to know is...
Did you bring coffee, donuts and pancakes for the anklebiters?

You cannot have the legend without the legend's orb, scepter and crown. ;-)

6. They are high schoolers
The real teacher is an adult, and professional, but the high school students are bound to dress like high school students. (They are good with the kids, and all taking Early Childhood Ed as the course)

7. How old is the teacher aid?
If she's over 18, hubba hubba.

If under, forget I said anything.

14. Ironically...
I was a high school teacher for 6 years, back in the 90's, but WA state made me hate it with their wretched system and horribly low pay in an expensive state. "Do you coach?" is all they really cared about. Guess it's that way it is most places.

No regrets. I moved on, and have had some interesting experiences since, which have enriched me in other ways. :-)

There's more than one way to teach, and the world is my classroom.

18. Awesome!
It's hard to discern who's more excited: Uncle Zomby or the Little Zombies!

(That's the first English-language book I taught my German-speaking goddaughters to readd. They nearly teens now, but they can recite it by heart.)

19. It was unexpected
The teacher just finished asking them questions, and then she announced "Give Uncle Laurin a hug!" LOL

They were the most attentive audience I have ever had, and I have read for people of all ages in various settings. :-)
