Who else is crazy about Green Day?

I can't get enough of them.....and U2.....I am going to see them both in less than two weeks, so I officially started my Green Day/U2 marathon to pump up for the concerts....anyhoo.....I think American Idiot is the best effin' album to come out in a long time!

4. Yeah...I freaked out when I found out they were both coming to my area

I'm here in Iowa where it's hard to see anybody good. I've been a Green Day fan FOOOOR-EEEVVVV-EEEER.....since I was like 13 and Dookie came out. I recently bought American Idiot (I'm really poor right now, can't buy my usual CD a week) and I was like, how did I survive without this album?

5. GD sold out before I could get tickets...

U2 is coming in December, but even the nosebleeds are selling for $500.

8. I have a 5 hour drive to Chicago for U2

and the seats are kinda crappy-but only 50 bucks.....and I got tickets to Green Day the day before they sold out....crap....that means my ticket karma just might end soon! I hope not!

in the context of the album, it's really good though....it plays kinda like reading a book....I love it!

I'll have to check them out! I've been trying to get a copy of Rise Against-do you know if they are any good? I was also introduced to a band called Rockets and Cars that are pretty stellar.

I've heard a small sampling of RA. They're a bit more hardcore than I prefer, but still quite good.

I haven't heard of Rockets and Cars. I'll have to look em up.
