Cat turns nice: HEyHEY suspicious
my cat, whom I have a mutual hatered with, is suddenly playing mister nice guy. He's up on the desk interfering with the computer, I can hardly type, what gives? WHy is he mister nice guy now? Maybe cause my sister's dog was over and he thinks he's being replaced

15. Well if it's not guilt
then it's likely hunger or thirst.

Either that or he messed in your sheets, and you just haven't discovered it...yet. :D

5. he's playing you. :)
Cats own their people, not the other way around.
You better make nice. Remember what happened the
last time a cat was angry? :-D

7. That's the thing..he doesn't get angry
I'm thinking of taking him to a therapist, he seems to have a lot of repressed anger.

23. Theories
-Is he feverish? If he's sick and has a temperature
he could be delirious. I once had to rush my cat
to the emergency vet in the middle of the night 'cause
she started staggering around. The first thing the
vet says, after petting her, is "what a nice kitty."

Red flag.
I knew right then that she was really sick 'cause
she's a bitch on wheels, not a "nice kitty." Sure
'nuff, she had a 105 degree temp and had to spend the
night there to get her temp back to normal. And her
behavior back to normal. She's now healthy, and
characteristically unpleasant. All is well.

-I assume the weather's getting a lot colder where you are,
what with it being late autumn and all. Cats abruptly get all
lovey dovey when it gets cold. They're suckin' up our body heat.

Just a couple of possibilities. Keep us posted. If this sudden
change in behavior persists, you may need to take him to a
hypnotist to get to the root of it.

28. Agree: Especially about the weather
Has it become cooler? Cool air can definitely make cats more friendly.

25. thinks you got a better deal going with the dog
Maybe cause my sister's dog was over and he thinks he's being replaced...

When my neighbors went on vacation, they gave me the keys to their house. My cat, who had been behaving badly, watched me go to their house, open the door, pet the dogs, play with the dogs, give them a biscuit and take them back in the house.

Returned home. Nice kitty. Nicest kitty I ever met.

either he wants something, or is about to get caught. You might want to check your credit cards, bank account, phone calls, etc.

:silly:
