Just watched it again today, aside from it being a really good movie it reminded why Jerry "Fartwell" hates the supreme court so much.

3. I know everyone loves to hate Courtney Love-

But I love to love her. She was so amazing in this movie, and I respect her SO MUCH. I think with regard to actors, a person's intelligence can be almost instantly fathomed by how well and how easily an actor can express herself.

8. I love Courtney Love

I've heard it said that playing a junkie didn't require much acting from her. I disagree - I never saw her in that movie, I saw and cared about the character. And that's what acting is truly about - not the actor but what is acted.

I think she's fabulous. More talent than I could ever hope to have. And more fucked up than I could ever fear being - but she knows that and she has a sense of humor about it and she uses it to fuel her creativity.

Watch her again in this movie, listen to everything Hole ever did, sit down and really listen to America's Sweetheart. Courtney by trying to be rocker and trying to be a celebrity became a goddess.

Listen to Uncool - sing the lyrics yourself. If it doesn't make your heart ache, then you have no soul.

10. She is one of the only high-profile people

who really OWNS her mistakes. She takes bad photographs, and she takes magnificent ones. She's lost her temper. More than once, she's messed up even before "Bean" came along. People should find another target. Courtney Love is completely human and also BRILLIANT. Thanks for having the same point of view in this case, Khash. I find that rare.

Nice to meet someone who can who can look at a person, recognize their problems without judging them for it, and appreciate what they really have to offer.

Courtney has a lot to offer, but will we accept it?

Courtney Love kicks ass. I loved her in Hole. Their music is awesome.

7. It's a really good movie

I'm not a big fan of Hustler, although it's certainly educational.

Still and I all I like Larry Flynt - and the whole thing with his wife having AIDS and dying was heartwrenching (Courtney Love once again proving she has more talent than anyone gives her credit for).

Anyway, respect where respect is due. Flynt has earned mine and Falwell has not.
