but it seems that they're enjoying their backtogetherness, so there could be more opportunities. I hope you get a chance.

I saw a line-up with Gill, King, and a very fine non-Allen bassist (she was in red vinyl hotpants), and a non-Burnham Japanese drummer at Constitution Hall in DC (along with Public Enemy, who were great, and Sisters of Mercy, whose fans seemed to like them), back in 1990 or 1991 or something. But I've never seen the original four, and have heard great things about their shows.

Honestly, I cannot wait.

6. I saw a GoF show in '96 (I think).

Same deal - King & Gill and a couple of whoevers. FUCKING AMAZING. With the full original lineup, it has to be beyond incredible.

4. GOF is in my top five of all time.

I bought Entertainment based purely on the album cover when it was first released, without knowing a thing about the band. Needless to say, I wasn't the least bit disappointed. I have followed them fairly closely ever since.

Gang Of Four is beauty, simplicity and originality.

9. I think that speaks really well of you

When I first bought "Entertainment," I found the musical dialect so strange that I couldn't understand it at all. It wasn't like the Pistols or the Clash or anybody else.

Boy, did that dialect grow on me in a hurry, and in a big way.
