BREAKING NEWS: Rabrrrrrr accepted illegal campaign contributions
New information has surfaced that Rabrrrrrr's recent flight and round of golf was paid for by suspicious characters representing pahoehoe, in an effort to boost pahoehoe to the top of a recent DU poll, in the face of nobody knowing what the hell pahoehoe means.

via DRUDGE, WORLDNETDAILY and other sketchy news sources often cited and capitalized by DUers in order to be the first in spreading gossip.

1. As my official spokesentity, let me just say that all those trips
were for the public good. They were related to lobbying attempts Rabrrrrrr made with business leaders in order to bring more business to this area, and improve the economy.

12. Try convincing the rest of America
that it's not a liberal media, that's the hard part. There used to be a billboard that I'd pass on my way home that said something along the lines of "Stop the Liberal Media."

14. You know I never understood that
I bought (a long time ago) the whole Iraq is a threat, but I never connected it to 9-11. I knew that none of the terrorist came from Iraq and most came from Saudi Arabia. I was in the "oh they do have WMDs and could attack us," but not that Saddam was any part of 9-11.

But yeah, it's hard to fight the spin doctors that can turn 9-11 into a relation to ever thing that's going wrong in the world/economy/America/anything else you want to make it.

16. exactly
I read today, someone said the Pope was the real culture of life -- anti-abortion, anti-death penalty, anti-unjust war, and some replied that being pro-death penalty was pro-life because it got rid of murderers and was a deterrent against other crimes. I was shocked, shocked to read that.

And you know I work with a republican girl, very hard core Bush supporter, wears a religious ring every day. You know what, she's had not 1, not 2 but 3 abortions, and finally got on birth control after the 3rd...but she believes in this "culture of life." That's hypocrisy at the highest. (BTW I'm very pro-choice, but this situation just took the cake. I've had friends that had an abortion after being raped, and honestly I forget they've ever had them. And when I told them about this girl, they shook their head in disgust.)

I'm a Christian, and I hate, hate what these RW wackos spew forth as "Christian." They obviously skipped the part on forgiveness and love. And yes, I'm against this war in Iraq, but I support the troops, I've done drives for supplies to send to Iraq.

Aggh :banghead:

Sorry, it's late and I'm tired, and I'm ranting. It just gets me sooo mad sometimes.
