Poll question: "Do Ya" by The Move is the Greatest Song of All Time: yea or nay?
If you vote "nay," I'll literally pee in my pants.

1. Yes, but it must be the 'Move' version.

Not the ELO or Todd Rundgren versions. Only the 'Move' version is cool enough to get my vote!!!!

While we're on the subject, I wouldn't mind hearing "Turkish Tram Conductor Blues" today.

8. You MUST hear The Move's version!
It kicks ELO's all over the Northern Hemisphere.

9. Great band.
And I love ELO, too (yes, I am a dork), but The Move were something special.

10. There is NOTHING wrong with ELO
The Move simply crushes everything in its path--even its own offspring!

12. And enabled "Cheap Trick" to make millions.
Rick Neilsen learned every guitar lick he knows from Roy Wood.

13. ELO's very underrated.
It's takes a long time to regain your reputation after being involved in something like Xanadu. Which reminds me, I should probably add that film to the "Worst Movie" post.

3. Dumbass. It's not even the best song by The Move.
Which, in case you were wondering, would be "Brontosaurus."

6. Wrongwrongwrongwrong. WRONG!
"Brontosaurus" is good, but "Do YA" is invincible.

11. Really? Better than "When Alice Comes Back to the Farm"?
Or "Hello Suzie"?

How about "Message from the Country"?

I must admit. I love them all. The Move were my first true non-Top 40 love.

14. My next favorite is "It Wasn't My Idea to Dance."
Rick Price's bass tone is stunning.
