1. I watched (aghast) some of the VH1 special "Remaking" of Vanilla Ice
It was on a few days ago. What a disaster/nightmare.

2. I saw this episode too...
and thought what a disaster, and waste of air-time for someone still stuck (unfortunately) 'back in the day'. I also saw the Remaking episodes for both Taylor Dayne and the lead singer of Motley Crue, and was impressed with both. Both really wanted suggestions and new ideas and came off likeable and professional. What talents. Can't say the same for Vanilla Ice. He just seemed like a spoiled 3 year old that kept saying, 'No, no, no'. He didn't like anyone or anything, and didn't want to try anything new at all. Too bad. He could have used it.

4. for embarassing no talent sell outs, he was actually pretty smart
unlike, say, MC hammer, ice DIDN'T spend all his money, and to this day is still loaded...he doesn't have to do shit
