Everybody Loves Raymond
but me.

:wtf:

I have never watched the show. Not once.

And moreover, I have no desire to.

Is it really *that* good?

12. Where do you draw the line, then?
Does absolutely everyone involved in some ensemble have to be liberal before you'll watch something as trivial as a sitcom?

18. Well, to reiterate.
Yes, it really is that good. At least the first few seasons were, back when it was struggling along. I can't speak for the last three or four years.

If you come across an early episode, give it a chance and forget about the political leanings of the actors. You might enjoy it. And if you don't, then you'll at least know why.

My favorite line: "Mom, I'm not gonna lie to you." <Uncomfortably long and unresolved silence>

9. Those Albertsons commercials have become so obnoxious.
I would be really freaked out if I were in a Grocery store and some stranger came up to me and started talking to me about the steaks that they carry.

15. Yeah, she's a tool.
She's honorary douchebag for these people

http://www.feministsforlife.org/news/

And she got all weepy about the Schiavo debacle.

I bet the cast & crew will be happy to not see her face all week for the rest of their lives.

:puke:

6. I do not love Raymond.
I really don't get the hype behind this show, but then again, I never understood Friends either.

11. Well, I did enjoy the show, and sorry to see its final episode May 20
All of the actors are talented people. I try not to think about their politics, and just enjoy them. Ray Romano is a very funny guy, but he's pretty rich now. I doubt if he'll do stand-up comedy any more.

7. Yea, I think it is.
I think it's so entertaining to so many people because each of us can relate to almost everything that goes on in their skits.

8. Yes. At least it WAS that good.
I watched only the first four or five seasons. But they were really good.

BTW, Patricia Heaton's the only bushkisser on the show. I understand the rest are pretty liberal.

Consider youself blessed with a lot of extra time in your life.

Also, I think it went on about 3 or 4 years too long.

20. And me
That show is insufferable and I'm glad its ending.

Ray Romano's "comedy" is some of the unfunniest stuff I've ever seen.

Peter Boyle is a staunch dem from Philly ya know.
