Waffles! I myself tend towards waffles of the Belgian sort. Don’t ask me why! I said, don’t ask me why, oh, okay because they are substantial and stand right up there on the plate. No sir! No wimpy GWB waffles for me, those little cowardly crust of burned batter hunkering down there so low on the plate like they can escape the fate for which they were destined.

Now let’s us consider the “fix’ns.” Butter of course and syrup. Selection of syrup depends on my mood. The selection goes something like this: BLUEberry for those mornings when nobody loves me. STRAWberries for those mornings when ???? hmmm I guess for those mornings when I resemble the American Gothic painting. Well you have the picture. Oh sure it’s not a picture. Let’s see you do better in praising your waffle!

A great rasher of Canadian bacon would be most appreciated. Toss in a couple kippers and if you can spare it, a kidney (drained first).
