1. Last night ...

I found the most adorable skirt for 50% off for a wedding this weekend. I'm still thinking about it today! My day should be good for less material reasons, I know. But, I don't care!

9. It's been a long winding road to a new job.

Got outsourced from my cube farm job out in the industrial area of town. Went to school to learn a new trade, spent six more months pounding the pavement and ended up three buildings away from where my last job was back in a cube farm again (but this one required the license I got from the retraining).

It's always scary starting a new job, but when I talk to people at the place, most of them have been there for 10 years, so that makes me feel a little better.

My family are all in good shape; the car's still moving; I'm closer to finishing up some of these damn books I'm working on; and I have enough downtime to be on DU. It's a great day!
