Who's Behind The Door?
Edited on Tue May-17-05 09:33 AM by redqueen
We sailed away
We walked 2 thousand miles
and then we slipped away
We looked so hard
But couldn't seem to find just what
the world was for
Now we know
Just what the journey's for

Looking out to the stars
Think about what you are
What do they think of you
Animals in their zoo
They haven't got the time
Landing's not on their minds
How do they have the nerve
We're animals in preserve

They watch us all
They're only making sure that we
don't trip and fall
They look so hard
But they can't tell us why they're
here and just what for
Because they don't know
Who opened up the door

How can we find out more
Who owns the keyless door
Where does the circle end
Who are the unwatched men
Where do we go from here
Faith is a fading fear
Life is a waiting room
I hope they don't call me soon

How much more do you really
think you know than a flower
does about who's behind the door!

Anyone else remember this song? I heard it a couple of nights ago and it hasn't left my head for long... I think the aliens are trying to tell me something!

3. Is that a scary movie,
or a porno? I think I've heard of it...

I'm so clueless... :P

4. Hee - I don't watch scary movies, Red!
They just make me paranoid about who's lurking behind the door when I'm watching porn. ;-)

5. If it's what I'm thinking of
it's one of Marilyn Chambers signature movies. One of the classics.

7. I know that name...
but I'm obviously not familiar enough. Clearly I need to do some studying! ;)

8. Marilyn has a T & A show on HBO late nights,
forget what it's called. But she's one of the superstars of adult films.
That would be some bookwork I could handle. ;-)

2. Is that Zebra?
Edited on Tue May-17-05 09:38 AM by Brotherjohn
They were the local band made good (New Orleans) that were supposed to be the next Led Zeppelin. Zep was even pushing them on their Swan Song label.

They still make the festival rounds.

6. Yeah it is!
I'm shocked anyone recognized it, even. When I heard it I was all like "Hey, I know that song!" but could barely remember it... it must've been years since I've last heard it.

Had the first three of their studio albums :)

In the middle of winter
the trees are bare
and the bears are hibernating...

11. it gets a little less good as you move through their catalogue
Zebra - that's the best album

No Tellin Lies - falls apart half way through the first side and drifts into pseudo fantasy imagery and overlong guitar solos

3.V - Has two good tracks, and a bunch of lousy tracks that sound like outtakes from No Tellin Lies.
