I'll go for their first masterpiece.

2. I voted for Physical Graffiti
It has its share of filler but has enough killer songs to overlook this.

8. Amen to that - there are so many great songs on IV...
..and they had to ruin it with Stairway to Heaven

Stairway to Heaven... but always been more partial to When the Levee Breaks on IV than any other song on their. Whenever it comes on the radio volume goes up. With that being said I voted for Houses of the Holy, but you can't lose with either album.

I like it to... I don't crank it up as much as I do Levee, but you can't go wrong with that song either.

11. I love the acoustic stuf on III.
That album pissed off the heavy metal crowd when it was released. I always loved Hangman and Tangerine.

15. I wish that Page didnt give up the Bluesy stuff after III.
He was quite good at that considering his Yardbirds days.

10. Even though my favorite songs are all on II, I have to go with PG
I love 2, my favorite songs being "Ramble On" and "Whole Lotta Love". BUt as a whole, I think Physical Graffiti is just an all around more amazing album. THey really hit their stride with that album!

Why? Only one not produced by Plant and Page--they always to me seem needlessly excessive at times and probably needed restraint and 'feedback' Hot Dawg comes to mind... :-(
