How much work do you get done in the last ten minutes on Friday?

Poll question: How much work do you get done in the last ten minutes on Friday?

assuming you work M-F, that is... otherwise insert "last day of your work week" for "Friday" and "first day of your work week" for "Monday"

Considering how much work you get done in those last ten minutes, should you really be there? Or should you just go home?

1. I can't vote.

I don't work 9-5 M-F, you lucky people you.

But, in my last ten minutes in a shift, I usually get TONS done so I can leave. See, we can't leave til the cleaning and such is done.

2. When I worked an office job, I tried to get as much done as

possible on Friday afternoons, and what I couldn't get done, I tried to organize and prioritize so I never had to come in to chaos on my desk on Monday morning.

Some Fridays, though - you just get that Friday afternoon attitude and it can't be helped. It usually sweeps through the whole office until everyone is worthless!

But the equivaLent being the Last ten minutes on Thursday - it aLL depends.

I don't Like Leaving stuff on my desk over the week-end, and thus wiLL frequentLy be finishing things off (I can become scareLy efficient when I need to); other times the efficiency kick-in earLier and I have LittLe Left by the end of the day.
