21. Do you have ANY idea how much we hate you
when you remind us of the extent to which the place you live resembles Paradise?

Especially when it's 45 degrees and raining here in New England, and we feel it in every single joint in our old, arthritic bodies?

Redstone

(Just joking, and you know it. Can we come out to visit you for a week or so, just long enough to restore our spirits, PLEASE?)

25. If you'd asked me yesterday, my answer would have been different
We just had a long weekend and it RAINED and RAINED.

Our spring has been cool and rainy.

Sunny days are like a drug for Vancouverites, especially this time of year. Our flowers start blooming in February and it can be really warm for Easter but you can't count on good weather until July.

I went to a concert once in June. It was the first sunny day in eons. Even the artist commented on the mood of the crowd - we were practically giddy with joy.

Redstone, you (and the Mrs) can come and visit anytime.

33. We can come visit any time? How's tomorrow work for you?
You'll like Mrs R. Everybody does.

This coming Friday is our 15th anniversary. Imagine someone being able to put up with me for that long, and you'll have an idea of what a peach she is.

Redstone

6. Hot and sultry here in Cream Corn, Florida..
Mostly cloudy, 81 degrees at 10:40 pm, with 79% humidity, and a brisk, but barely refreshing 10-15 mph wind from the west. Except for the wind and clouds, it's typical Cream Corn Summer weather (Summer being the overwhelming feature of our weather).

23. It's been fabulous weather for several days.
Right now we have blue sky and it's still sunny, though dusk is fast approaching.

It was 72 or so earlier, so probably high 60s right now.

31. Mid seventies, huge moon, fantastic breeze,
boat open, no a/c needed. This is the weather we wait for all year. But stay tuned...they predict lots of hurricanes coming up this summer. So for anyone who is envious, check in with me about September when I have to haul my boat and evacuate to B.F. Everglade City, or worse yet, Orlando.
