I do. I have no reason not to like this person, but they just rub me the wrong way. Something about this person, I don't know what it is, just pisses me off. I am not usually this way about people. I am nothing but nice to this person, but when they don't come in to work, I celebrate!!

3. Well if I think about it, I guess I could find some.
But this person is nice to me, but I don't feel it is genuine.

2. I have a co-worker I dislike for very particular reasons.
And even when she's being half-normal, like today, I still don't like her.

10. I have one with a reason too...
Let's see - took this job with the plan of - not working, but so she could get herself knocked up the second insurance kicked in. She's been here 9 months - she's 6 months pregant.

Will not STFU - ever. And has NOTHING to say but spends a LOT of time saying it. Has no idea WTF boundaries are. Snoops through our stuff - whines about her doctors appointments she has to take - that WE have to cover for. Butts in to every single conversation to be had within 100 feet of her. Interrupts constantly, then wont shut up so she takes over the entire conversation.

God - I hope she goes away on maternity leave never to return.

Until she came, everyone in our department got along GREAT.

11. Same here ...
We all are friends in our office & we ran things smoothly before she got here. She's one of those people born with the silver spoon - and that's how she got her job here. Not because she earned it or because she has a degree in this field (which I do), but because of who she knows. Burns my ass. I wish she'd get knocked up, too.

Damn - I didn't used to be this evil! :o

14. It actually pisses me off that she's pregnant.
Since her goal was to secure the insurance for the purpose from the beginning. We're a small company - not a huge corporation. We depend on one another to get the job done. Now she whines because she has prenatal classes and appointments she wants to go to, so her work hours aren't working out for her very well... etc.

She's using the job like welfare benefits - free insurance!

And as a WOMAN - I find this especially distasteful. This is the kind of shit that causes women to be discriminated against in the workplace.

21. One more reason to have a
Single-payer/Universal Health Care. Then people wouldn't be looking at jobs as a source of health care.

5. Well sure, but I didn't like this person
the first time I met them. It could be me reading what kind of person they are, but it's something that I can't pinpoint.

6. You sense he/she is a phony. You said it yourself.
And you're probably right. He/she is probably good at it, being phony, which makes for a sincere phony, the slipperiest kind, cus they believe it themselves. I'll bet you're not the only one who feels it, either.

19. ahem...
stop trying to believe their lies, you sound like you want to be nice to this person, but they don't deserve it, that is their biggest trick on you, making you want to like them, because you are supposed to, not because they deserve it,

my advice is to get a black heart, be skeptical, be critical (which is why I posted that link)

8. We are human "animals"
and we have instincts. If you don't like this person your instincts are telling you something. Trust them.

9. Smart thinking!
It is weird how your instincts can kick in. Sometimes they can be wrong, but I haven't liked this person for 3 years, so I am trusting them.

12. We have student interns at work and when I come in and say hi to them.
They will either avert their eye and not respond or just ignore me altogether. Its weird and 'used to hurt my feelings then I decided they just don't know what to do when someone they don't personally know greets them. (I work in a different section, have never been introduced to them and have no direct interaction with them.) It bugs me, though, and in a way I still think its rude as hell.
