they're great sauteed, with a nice buerre blanc sauce. Crunchy on the outside, chewy in the middle. Tastes like chikkin.

21. they're not dangerous
I get them all the time. The dog scares them, they play dead, then I pick it up by its tail and put it in the side yard. They're really nearsighted and they hiss and act all big and scary but that's about as mean as they get. I'm sure if you cornered one (why would you?) they might bite, but so would I.

There's one around my house that's bigger than Fatso Catso - Catso just waits patiently a foot or two away until the possum's done eating out of her bowl before she gets to eat.

no I'm not Ellie Mae but I do have a real purdy ceeement pond.

They're a gigantic, squishy amphibianoid that looks like it's made of jello and mud. It likes to gulp down baby ducks, and an older one typically has lots of lumpy scars from the many fights in its bad-tempered past.

Grown men have screamed themselves hoarse after pulling up one of them on the fishing line.

37. I WIN: I give you "The dreaded Guinea worm"

Dracunculiasis is a disease caused by the parasitic worm Dracunculus medinensis or "Guinea worm". This worm is the largest of the tissue parasite affecting human. The adult female, which carries about 3 million embryos, can measure 600 to 800 mm in length and 2 mm in diameter. The parasite migrates through the victim's subcutaneous tissues causing severe pain especially when it occurs in the joints. The worm eventually emerges (from the feet in 90% of the cases), causing an intensely painful oedema, a blister and the an ulcer accompanied by fever, nausea and vomiting.
