Do you find not conventionally attractive people more attractive if they
have a great voice, and sense of humor or talent??

1. sense of humor, mainly.
talent helps in the appearnce of being well rounded, but in the end its not really an issue... and a great voice cant hurt... but its not up there with sense of humor.

9. Yes, there are!
I was thinking about it because there are some actors, like Anthony Hopkins for example, who I would not find conventionally physically attractive, but he has an interesting voice and seems as if he has a depth of character. Jack Nicholson is another one who just seems as if he would be a ball of laughs.

After thinking a while, I realized that there have been some in my own life I have come across like that.

:)

3. Absolutely
Someone that I can laugh with is essential. Talent goes to more of some kind of celebrity-crush thing than real life..not as tangible to me in everyday life as humor.

Conversely, a physically "conventionally attractive" person with a bland personality becomes less attractive..

5. Those are important things, certainly . . .
but I've known a lot of good-looking people with nice voices and a talent for making folks laugh at others' expense, and this I find extremely unattractive. Self-respect, compassion and a genuine heart trump physical assets any day (for me, anyway).

8. I suppose I associate a sense of humor
with someone who is at least a bit self depricating, or doesn't take themselves too seriously, and put themselves above others.

Great points you make!

10. I tend to find not conventionally attractive people just more attractive
in general. I can't stand that "I should be on TV" look. They all look the same.

I like a look with some originality and personality.

11. I don't really know what being "conventionally attractive" means.
Conventional for whom?

13. Yes, it is an ambiguous term, isn't it??
Perhaps I mean the type that would be in the People's most beautiful, that may be the best way to define it.

19. I suppose I tend to gravitate toward Irish people, but not on purpose.
Usually, I am attracted, and then find out that the person is of Irish extraction. Hell, Mrs.IconCat has dual citizenship! She still knows how to get to her old house outside of Dublin!

21. I am a person who loves different cultures
I suppose I am an anglophile, but find Chinese culture interesting as well.

I am a sucker for a British accent, though.

12. Yes. Personality, intelligence, sense of humor all increase a person's
attractiveness to me. In fact, I'd rather be with someone who is not conventionally attractive but who made me think, laugh and was a good person before I was with a boorish "beauty".
