And which state do you live in?

I used to subscribe to the "Bronze Package" (via Comcast)
and it was a whopping $73 per month. I live in California.

(This is not the full package. I think that's $100/month)

I dumped it.

Just wondered if cable (that includes Sundance) is any
less expensive elsewhere...

1. I Have A Dish.... Full Package & I Pay $104.00 Monthly!
Not cheap, but I feel well worth it because I live here in Florida. When we had ALL the hurricanes last year we never lost our signal and were able to view the latest updates. That is with the help of 2 Generators!

Dish has surprised me as I thought the reception would have a lot more interference. Sundance is channel 332 on the network and has been a regular for sometime.

Cable provider is Time-Warner. Sundance and Independent Film Channel are part of my package deal. I get all the premium channels and their East Coast feeds, which is very convenient. (HBO/Showtime, Cinemax, Starz, etc. etc.)

My cable bill would be less than $100 a month if I didn't also have Road Runner hi-speed access. Not MUCH less, though!

7. I have Time Warner too
and I will say that once they had a competitor, they lowered their rates dramatically. My bill was cut in half. And their customer service improved too.

9. My brother had satellite and there were lots of channels but I
found that very few were worth watching. But that was
awhile back and perhaps things have changed.

6. I pay $86
for digital cable on two TVs, basic cable on any others, a DVR, and broadband (through Adelphia). The digital cable includes a bunch of stuff, including Sundance and the Independent Film Channel, but the basic cable does not.

There is some sort of a deal with my homeowners' association. I think it would be $150 without the deal.

8. We have Charter, and it is about $129 a month:
Expanded Basic Cable
Digital link up which includes Sundance, BBCA and a bunch of other good stuff
Encore/Starz package
and our internet connection

More channels than I can watch in a week that is for certain.

10. Thanks for your input, All...
I currently pay $16.95 and get a handful of cable
channels: CSPAN/CSPAN2, Discovery, TVLand, and
Oxygen.

I really don't miss the other channels. I had
thought I'd watch a lot of things on TCM (Turner
Classic Movies), but I didn't.
