I can't find my car Keys. AARRGGGGHHH.
I have been looking for more than 2 hours now.

Where the FUCK could they be?

Candidate culprits:

Cat batted them somewhere.

Kid took them and dropped them somewhere.

We have gremlins.

8. That happens to me all the time.
Last time it was two weeks before I found them. Fortunately, I had a spare key. But I didn't have a spare house key, so I had to leave my front door open. I wasn't too worried, as I have a Rottweiler.

9. Re-trace your steps
Where was the last place you remember having them in your hands?

Here are some places to check:
keyhole at the front/side/back door
keyhole of the car door/trunk
keyhole of garage door
bathroom

This is what i have done to avoid this, I put a hook on the wall just inside the door, and I hang them there as soon as i walk in. When they are not on that hook, they are attatched to my pants belt loop with a carabiner. Good luck !

16. First rule of keys
ALWAYS put them in the same place. Always.

I used to lose my keys regularly until I got smart. I now have a keychain with a little clip - when I go anywhere, the keys are attached to me. When I get out of the car, I pat my hip to hear that jingle - if I hear it, I can lock the door.

When I come home, the keys go in a little dish that sits on my dresser. Nowhere else!

I haven't lost my keys in about 5 years.
