Have any of you suffered the "Black Icons?" When you go to a site and

somehow all the icons are black and you think you must have a terrible virus or spyware even though you've just run "AdaWare and Spybot?"

Did you notice that if you just "ignored" the "BLACK ICONS" and went on with your work that every site you visited suddenly turned to the "black icons" so you increasingly felt less safe?

I had a computer crash the last time I ignored the "Black Icons" and had to call a "techie for hire" in. It was a huge mess. In the end I thought it was a terrible virus and he really thought that it was because I had a "harware failure."

In the end...both of us were wrong, but I managed to save my computer by asking alot of questions of the "Tech" and doing some "tweaks" of my own.

But, now I have the "Black Icons" back and am wondering if this is an attack since it preceded the awful experience I had before...:-(

2. No...sorry...I went through all the posts and it isn't my problem.

All my icons are black this post talks about icons moving to left or lining up out of sequence. My problem is that my screen /desktop looks the same but all the icons are filled in BLACK!

I'm used to ...although I can still browse and do what I need to...all icons are black and this typeface I'm keying in is not my usual one. :scared:
