They smell better than tomatoes. Just went out and ruffled the plants while picking tomatoes for dinner.

26. the smell of a shoe repair shop is wonderful

i never liked polishing my black and white saddle ofords wheb i was a kid because the white polish isn't good smelling. it's polishing penny loafers and the like that produce great smells.

The aroma from wood shavings that lingers in the air. I hate for trees to be cut down, but I think a woodworking shop is the closest place to heaven on earth.

included. 'course, cedar can be overpowering,too. we put cedar chips in the WonderLab's dogloo and she smells like a giant gerbil when the chips are still fresh. sometimes a bit much.

My puppy is starting to transition from cute puppy breath to icky doggy breath. Time to get some doggy breath mints. Oh, and puppies don't smell so good when they poop on themselves.

A close second was Bookstore. I also like the smell of new tires, as they smell in a tire store. :shurg:

They are very aromatic -- when I get a whiff of them I get flashbacks to some good times at my grandma's cottage. Love the smell.

Aviation gasoline (not jet fuel, eww); fresh-ground coffee beans; eucalyptus.

And fresh-roasted Karl Rove.

41. The smell of air after it rains
Yeah I'm one of those freaks that can smell the weather.

The smell of some book stores makes me sick especially ones with older books. When I worked at a library I couldn't work on some floors. Although I like the idea of Rove roasting I don't necessarily want to smell it. Kind of like how I love ice cream but I don't want to smell a cow while I'm eating it.
