Cripes, it's a broiler today...
It hit 95 degrees here in Shbeoygan, and any lawn not in the shade or being watered is turning brown.

7. You're gonna be smelly
Please, shower before you come back to the lounge. I'm out of air freshener after JJ came in w/o showering after her workout and stank the place up the other day. x(

3. Down here in Houston we go a welcome break.
It's 4:00 in the afternoon and the air temperature is only 80 degrees. It feels like 85 when you factor in humidity though. That's still a welcome break.

4. Officially it's 94
with a heat index of 98....so that ties the official record

but:

All the other thermometers I've seen are registering between 96 and 98....so I think this is a record scorcher....

thank god there's a cold front coming through tonight/tomorrow.

5. 97 in Minneapolis
with a heat index around 110°. IIRC it's the 9th day in a row where the temp has been over 90°. That does not happen here very often, and quite frankly, it sucks :(.

If I wanted tropical heat, I'd move to Florida. Fsck you very much, global warming. :eyes:

10. Finally had to water the front lawn,
was afraid someone would flick a cigerette butt out the car window and start a grass fire. I saw it happen at the local mall, the plantings of decorative grasses, started on fire..

I went for a 30K bike ride at 2 this afternoon. I know, I'm crazy. Nevertheless, it still felt good.
