Hey, can anyone think of a way to use the system to place bets on how long it will take before a tombstoning?

I mean, I'm sure most are aware that there's one particular one running around at the moment that I'll leave nameless for now.

I don't monitor trolls closely enough to give you a good answer. He could have been a total newcomer. So I won't count that question against you :-)

This guy was so pathetic a troll, that it is actually pretty funny.

He was obviously trying to run up a solid post count, because he was posting one-liner replies. But he got swatted before he even reached 50, and the reason is that the only way he could figure out how to reply to a post was to criticise or contradict the poster. In order to do this, or perhaps out of complete idiocy, he would misinterperate the intent or content of the person he was replying to.

Oh, he did post one positive reply. When I suspected he was a troll, I edited a recent reply to him to include "Welcome to DU!". He then proceeded to post a reply with the subject "(EDIT: Welcome to DU!)" thanking me and saying noone else here had been nice enough to welcome him here, thereby putting his name in lights as a troll.

How pitiful.
