Do you read every reply to an original post before you add yours or do you skip to the end of the line?

Sometimes I need to read all (or most) of the replies before I reply, other times I don't.

then I don't need to read the replies. But with "heavier" topics I will read most of the replies before I reply.

A big part of what you learn from a post come from the replies. But, if there are too many, I skip some of them.
