With all due respect to Alarcojon, I'm starting my own picture thread

Just over a year ago, I drove from Phoenix to Miami, via Las Vegas, Los Angeles and Tijuana. When I pulled into New Orleans, I ended up staying five days, meeting all kinds of interesting people. Here are three photos that were taken of me by strangers. I haven't stopped wondering about them since Katrina.




Hanging out at the Cafe du Monde after eating beignets.



Getting friendly with a Cajun barmaid from Baton Rouge. Not only was she hot, but very nice.

22. Newest pic I have, Mrs Retro and I

I spent 10 days in NO back in 1989 for my honeymoon with the ex-wife. Had some great times, took some fantastic pictures, but lost them along with everything else in the divorce. So NO memories are bittersweet for me, but it was such an amazingly beautiful place and I am glad I got the opportunity to be there.
