I found a really effective diet
Edited on Tue Oct-04-05 06:54 PM by yvr girl
Throw up for about 5 days and eat virtually nothing for about a week. Eight days later, I'm still down 14 pounds. It is a little hard to stick to long-term though. p.s. I'm not really recommending this.

5. I'm totally back to normal eating
A little trip to the hospital to get re-hydrated put my on the right path. Heck, I even had seconds at dinner last night. (Dinner at my folks.)

4. i'm sick too, and have lost 5 lbs in two days...
I am going to try and eat some soup right now. I hate being sick, and I hate losing weight this way, cause it comes right back as soon as you feel better.

8. I hope you feel better soon
Do try and eat something, soup, crackers etc. I think I lost real weight. I've recouped my lost fluid (thanks to an IV) and I've eaten normally for a week now.

I was just shocked at how much I lost. I was at my parents for dinner last night, and I used their scale. Today, I wore a pair of pants for the first time since last winter and I'm swimming in them.

especially if you smoke crack instead of ciggies. Hope you're feeling better :hi:

14. My favorite diet is the pain and misery diet.
Fall in love, get vulnerable, and get blindsided by a cheat and a dumped. The resulting lack of self esteem, and grief is worth at least 20lbs. Hasn't happened for awhile so I'm carrying too much weight now.

15. Cut out soft drinks (Pepsi for me) for a little over a week
I've lost 7 pounds. The next 7 seem pretty far away though.
