I met Lewis Black! (And saw O'Reilly get into his car...yuck!)

So tonight I went over to where the Daily Show tapes to check out how their new studio works in terms of where people go in and out, since I go there a lot to meet guests who are on. Before the show started, was standing by one of the exits and Lewis Black came out...he was on his cell and taking a cigarette break, so I didn't want to interrupt him. But I was just standing there next to him for 15 minutes...bit awkward. LOL.

Anyway, I saw that there was a window where I could see into the backstage area, and during the show I was watching the feed (couldn't hear from outside) and Lewis Black was in there watching. When O'Reilly came on and was doing his interview, Lewis Black was yelling at the TV! LOL :rofl:

I think Bill and Jon got into it, not sure. Bill was doing the thing where he spreads his arms out to act tough, and he usually does that when he's yelling and stuff. Ugh.

When the interview was over, Bill came out and got into his car down the block. It was too far down to say anything. Maybe 20 minutes later Lewis Black came out and I asked him if I could get an autograph. He's very mellow, a very nice guy. He said sure and signed for me. Told him I thought he's awesome and incredibly funny. He said thanks and to take care.

So THAT is my story for tonight :)

8. I got him to wave at me last year.

He came to UWSP last year on his Rules of Enragement tour, the route beck to my dorm went through a cooridor that goes by the backstage area of the gym where the show was. Lewis was hanging out behind a glass door, I waved at him, he waved at me!

So cool that you live near enough to hop on by to check out the guests and all. I too like Lewis. It was quite a 3 hour deal to finally sit in your seat in that studio...I wouldn't do it again-but-it was fun for that day...our Anniversary !:hug:
