there are some cheesy episodes but there are some good ones too.

i just felt so sorry for Bill Bixby everytime he tried to help someone, but ended up getting treated like SH*T for no reason. And then he leaves at the end, walking down the road and they play that sad piano ballad.

to this day i still kinda tear up when i hear that song (which isnt very often)

1. Yeah, I liked it
My grandmother and I watched it when I was a kid. They still play it occasionally on the Sci-Fi channel. It was rather cheesy at times but decent nonetheless.

3. Don't make me angry, Mr. McGee.
You wouldn't like me when I'm angry.

4. As a kid, I had to stop watching it.
The sad piano bit at the end, with him walking all forlorn into the sunset, made my little mind fill with turmoil. I watched for awhile and then stopped, because the end was always a downer.

5. I loved it, but the TV movies were horrible. Especially The Trial of
the Inc Hulk. A preppie Daredevil in a black ninja costume? Eeek...

The one with Thor wasn't too bad because the guy who played him reminds me so much of Zakk Wylde.

6. I got me into Body Building when I was a kid
You got to remember the time frame that was pretty much all we had back than.

7. Fave Martian,Hulk, Courtship Eddie's Father, The Magician. Bixby is god.
Well not god but sheesh, talk about a string of cool shows. Okay, the Magician is a bit weak but I liked it.

10. If he didn't get treated like feces, he wouldn't get angry and go green...
Still, the way people are today I wouldn't be surprised nor would I call the incidents "plot convenience" anymore...

I would watch it with my siblings eagerly awaiting the "change".

Lots of funny comments at jumptheshark.com, for example:

The shirts ripped, but the pants never did. Why?

...

Shit, if I could score a job every time I blew into a new town like my man David Banner... I'd be the friggin' President by now! The longest the guy ever held a job was about thirty minutes! (not counting Hulk-time, searching for a cure-time, and commercials!) Quite the resume! If ol' Banner was in the reely-real world, he'd have a hard time scoring a gig as mop-boy in the local x-rated peep show booths! Besides, if you really were the Hulk... wouldn't you make sure that the next time you Hulked out, you were in a elevator with that Jack McGee reporter-guy, so you could rip his spine out and snap into it like a SlimJim? The real stars of that show were 1) the guy who played that piano music at the end, so you knew that it was time to feel sad, and 2) the guy who was selling Lou Ferrigno (or is that "Lo Fewwigno", as he used to say?) his daily steroids! That guy must be a friggin' millionaire! (or is that "miwwyunawre"?)

....

I agree with the previous post who noted the trouble this guy had with cars....every time he drove one something happened that made him Hulk Out, but Jeez, the very next week he would take a job as a cab driver or a chauffer. And why was he always taking jobs where he KNEW people would pick fights with him, like sweeping the floors in a biker bar? And this guy would try ANYTHING to find a cure, even if he had to stand at ground zero of a nuclear bomb or tromp 100 miles through the jungle to find the rare blossom of the Peruvian Shitweed, and yet he never tried Ritalin or something? After all, his problem was not that he was a radioactive behemoth; it was that he freaked out every time he didn't have change for the pay phone. If I turned into the Hulk, I think I could count maybe 3 times in my life where I got that mad, and yet this guy freaked out ALL THE TIME over nothing. Forget the radiation, man, you need some Ginkoba or something, just chill!!!!
